PCS Phosphate to idle part of mining operations

PCS Phosphate, a division of Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan in Aurora reported that, due to continued permit delays, the Aurora facility’s mining operations will idle one of its excavators and eliminate several jobs.

Steve Beckel, general manager of the Beaufort County facility, stated:

Our mining operations are quickly approaching the end of our existing permit boundary.
