Potash prices need to be prevented from further fall

Potash Inventory has been building up in the industry even though the producers have been shutting down mines. The chance that the Potash Corporation will meet its guidance for the year is remote.

Analyst Amir Adar of Harel said:

The year 2009 is lost and the focus now is on trying to prevent potash prices from falling by adapting supply to demand.
