Chief Property

Legacy Potash Project

The Legacy Potash Project is located approximately 80 km northwest of Regina and immediately adjacent to Mosaic’s Belle Plaine potash solution mine. The project currently holds some 97,240 acres of Crown mineral lands held by Subsurface Mineral Permit KP 289. A total of 336,000 acres are under
option.

Potash One has completed a National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report on the Findlater Project (renamed Legacy Project) on February 8, 2007. The full text of the Technical Report is available on our website at www.potash1.com.

The Technical Report has estimated that the Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource for the Patience Lake and Belle Plaine potential solution mining intervals are:

  • Indicated Mineral Resource: 36.8 million tonnes of K2O

  • Inferred Mineral Resource: 360.4 million tonnes of K2O

The land held by Potash One is amenable to solution mining. The solution mining technique offers a faster time-line to production and significantly lower capital expenditures than conventional mining.

Work Program

Potash One is currently engaged in their 2D Seismic Program and Environmental Assessment study. Management intends to have these completed by the end of summer ‘08. In addition, a 5-10 hole drill program is planned to confirm potash grades and to expand the current resource estimate.

Management expects to have a feasibility study completed by the end of 2009, followed by production by 2012/2013.
