LONG COMPANY NAME

Overview

Potash North Resource Corp. (PON: TSXv) is leveraging its strong financial backing to expedite the exploration and potential development of a potash mine in the world’s most prolific potash region in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Key Points:

  • Emerging potash junior located in the world’s most prolific potash basin

  • Experienced management team with a powerful financial backing
  • Well financed with $104M in fully-diluted working capital
  • Aggressive exploration program underway
  • Surging potash prices confirm global potash demand is outstripping supply

Chief Properties

The Potash North permit areas are contiguous to the world’s largest potash mines. Approximately 20km northeast of Potash North’s permit area is Mosaic’s Esterhazy K1 and K2 underground potash operation, which produce approximately 5.3 million tonnes per annum. The southernmost boundary of the Potash North permit area is 45km North of Potash Corp.’s Rocanville Mine, which additionally produces 3 million tonnes per annum.

The formations of the potash beds in the Saskatchewan Potash Basin are known for their consistency over many kilometers. Historic drilling on the permit areas suggests that the potash formations of neighbouring Mosaic and Potash Corp.’s mines continue onto the Potash North permit areas. The exact continuance of the potash formation is presently unknown; however the recently released NI 43-101 Report states that the encouraging assays warrant an aggressive exploration program.

The Canberra Langenburg drill hole 16-29-22-30 W1M intersected the top of the Prairie Evaporite Formation at 776.5m drilled depth. Assay results taken from core cut in the Esterhazy Member show 3.3m of commercial grade potash from 791.2-794.5m at a weighted average grade of 21.5% K20 (34.1% KCl).

Four cored and assayed holes from the permit area that have commercial-grade potash intersections are available and have been inspected. These assays include:
